Free | Halifax Project + Environmental Exposures Paper
The Halifax Project took place between 2012 and 2015 and it involved more than 350 cancer researchers and physicians from 31 countries.
The project used teams of researchers to tackle two very important problems:
- One task force focused on an advanced therapeutic design aimed at a broad-spectrum of molecular targets (in an attempt to tackle the problem of therapeutic resistance and disease relapse).
- While the second task force focused on the carcinogenic potential of low dose exposures to mixtures of chemicals in the environment.
