MET stands for Metabolic Equivalent. MET (metabolic equivalent) is a term used to represent the intensity of exercise. The DNA DIET + SPORT tests that we sell will help you to determine what intensity of exercise you should be doing weekly in order to maintain a healthy BMI. In general: 1 MET stands for the amount of oxygen you consume and the number of calories you burn at rest.
