Silymarin is composed of six major flavonolignans, each of which may contribute to silymarin’s hepato-protective properties. Antioxidant or free
actions from flavonoids present in milk thistle have been cited as a likely mechanism of action of milk thistle.
Each capsule contains the following active ingredient:
|Silymarin Milk Thistle Extract (supplying 200 mg silymarin)||250mg|
Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell (gelatine free), microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Take 1 capsule three times a day. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects.
